UGG. I am really frustrated. While in a report, the info I have written down about looking up doctors isnt working. Anyone give me easy instructions? Also, my backspace is set to 3 which I was told to do, but still goes back like 2 sentences. HELP!! ...

Do you ever wonder if doctor's ever take a quick glance over the patient's chart before they begin dictating? I am not talking about residents who are dictating a large stack of charts, but a doctor who sees the same patients day in and day out in a diabetes clinic. I type for this doctor who will start dictating and have no idea what medications the patient is on, how many units the patient takes, or even how many times a day the patient is to receive insulin. She will name off ...

I don't know about the rest of you but I have very few male doctors who are careful enough to adequately edit normal templates to meet the patient's particular criteria. It's gets pretty time consuming to do it myself, especially when we are not qualified to do this in every instance. Female doctors almost always attend to these details. NPs, PAs do a much better job than the male docs, but few male docs either care, feel it is their job, or take responsibility for this editing. ...

What do you think of a company that tells you, as a rule, to put the patient's name in the report when stated because the hospital requested it despite HIPAA? I haven't been doing it, and they haven't called me on it yet. They probably didn't notice. ...

Doesn't it drive you nuts when a doctor consistently cuts himself off when he dictates? I sometimes get half words, the last couple letters of words, places where I haves to leave blanks because they say something like: EKG showed (silence) rhythm. What kind of regular? Why is it the doctors cannot give you the information you need in the order you need it. They all know the standards and they will sure raise hell if we deviate. Would it be too much to ask for just a little consideration in this regard so we are not constantly jumping all over the place? I mean, heck, their God, God can do anything. ...

To the poster who posted below looking for information on TTD. They don't have their own accounts. They work for Superior Global and maybe others. Superior pays them to find ICs. They probably pay them 4 cpl and then TTD pays you a cruddy 3 cpl to edit VR reports. They don't offer direct deposit because Superior is paying them and then they pay you, which is why you have to wait a month for your check. I would never work for a company that is just bascially an agency hir ...

My recommendation is to have any MT who feels her time is valuable to Stay very far away from this company. I am going to be very careful in how I word this. Company did not pay me correctly.
