Why do we get so many of these? Do they think I am going to forget what my schedule is? I just want to know what they want us to know about this.

Partial Unemployment - Who needs a schedule

when, you don't have any work. I work in California and the huge hospital account I was on, is gone. I am forced to use my PTO (not my idea) and I am about out. When I want to take time off, there won't be any left. Can I apply for partial unemployment? I know each state is different and I have read that some MTs have done. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance.

why on earth are you using PTO to cover time when - there is no work?

That is not acceptable. If you CCM told you that you have to, he/she is wrong. If you run out of work, do their protocol (punch out, wait 15 minutes, punch in, fill out Qcare ticket, get ticket number, e-mail copy of no work request to personal e-mail, and while in the Q care ticket, choose RELEASE WITH NO PAY), and then file for unemployment. I know several who have received partial unemployment even while they worked due to the down times.

You save that PTO for a vacation from work!!!

had to drop to PT (getting too much NJA anyway) and now I am still getting NJA sometimes and wonder if you can apply for partial unemployment if you are only part time?

I would ask, might be different in some states, but - my friend did at part time

Maybe if enough people stopped using their PTO and applied for unemployment, the company would stop over-hiring to keep their instantaneous turn-around times and learn how to staff properly.

Since the account left, I've worked on helper poolings every single day and my income has dropped in half. I'm already on Food Stamps - there is really not much further down I can go.

After Spheris was sold out to Q I ended up going to PT so I could work another job more hours/better pay part time. Then another pay cut, my account went away (just like yours) and I was fortunate enough to be in the decision process of whether to take a full time job offer from my other employer. The day my account disappeared I FINALLY read the writing on the wall. I worked a 3-day notice and left. Just figured "here's your sign" at that point. So I know what you mean, and judging from where your income has gone am reasonably sure I decided correctly. Best of luck to you.

why dont you ask to get transferred so you dont have - to be in helper pools

I know they do that to several MTs, however, there are also several MTs who work on 1 or 2 accounts. This is just totally unfair.

They need to do away with these "helper pools" and give us set accounts.

How can they expect good quality work when they have - "helper pools", sounds like

a cesspool to me. I thought they had done away with that?

It is unfair to the MT and the client to have that many different people working on their account.

Is ANYONE else having problems with SS/TW not showing the windows on left side of screen to go in and look at timesheets, collaboration or swap board. How do I correct an incorrect logoff time in schedule source (cable was down for 2 hours). I've searched MQCentral but only got a blank page under "policies." I've gone to timesheet, clicked on clock, highlighted the incorrect time, red-flagged it, but I don't know how to change the incorrect time. Maybe I should just leave a note in the box and CCM will fix it? Thanks guys! ...
