Ipswitch trouble - anon

Ipswitch won't send email, just gets stuck in the sending mode.  No error messages, nothing.  Just that circle going around and around.

Tech support asked me to send an email to myself while on the phone with him.  I did that, and it worked instantly.  I tried it again after I hung up, and it wouldn't work.  The same thing now.

This is so frustrating.  Any advice would really be appreciated...Thanks!!

I downloaded the free email program Thunderbird and use that. I never have any problems receiving or sending emails with Thunderbird. You have to set it up with the settings they gave us a while back. I don't know if you can find instructions for the settings at DQM.

I had that problem, too. I called tech support yesterday and the problem was solved. The issue was an Internet Explorer upgrade needed to be downloaded. You need to upgrade to Explorer 8. I think you can do it yourself if you're using your own computer, but I think the upgrade has to be done by tech support if you're using a company computer. You also won't be able to get into "Remedy" until you upgrade.

Click Preferences on the left and make sure your email address says what you think it does (should end in mmodal.com).  If it doesn't, it's the reason you don't hear back from your TSM.  You can correct it and then click Save to fix the problem. ...

you'd seen it all!  Now, if I even make it into the crapola system, I can't get past the first page.  I can't put a page # in the Go To box, I can't move to the next page by the arrow.  I can't look at my sent box or anything but the first page of the in-box. Just curious if that had happened to anyone else and if so, what did you do about it. TIA! ...

All of the sudden, it is hung on the download screen.  The box popped up saying "downloading job #xxxxxxxx.  Getting job details." And then the log out button is below that. It has been like that for 10 minutes.  I logged out and logged back in.  The same job came back as a reserved job, and it is hung again, doing the same thing. Explorer 8 on Medquist computer? They sent me a new computer because the fan went out in the old one and the new one had Explorer 8 on it. Now anything internet-based such as DocQmanage (client profiles, etc.) the text has letters that are different colors, making it very hard to read, and tech support cannot figure out how to fix it. I recently accepted a position with a company because this company had supposedly obtained a huge account. After completing the paperwork, sending it back, training on the account and working for about 3 days, I was told that the account was lost. Now I am sat here for 14 to 16 hours a day trying to squeeze out lines from another account that about 60 MTs were placed on when the other account was lost. In 14 to 16 hours I am only able to do between 300 to 500 lines and I am almost to the poin ...
