I am confused.
Unfortunately, you made the error on a VERY short report. The percentage changes drastically, depending on how many lines they count.
From MQ Quality Program Manual:
“Percentage is calculated by subtracting the total point value from the total number of ASCII billing lines, then dividing that number by the total number of ASCII billing lines.
Example: If the report is 150 lines and the total value of errors is 2 points, 150 lines – 2 errors = 148 divided by 150 lines = 98.7 percent.”
Examples:
Total Lines | Total Errors | Subtotal |
| Percentage |
11 | 0.25 | 10.75 | 10.75 divided by 11 | 97.727 |
16 | 0.25 | 15.75 | 15.75 divided by 16 | 98.437 |
50 | 0.25 | 49.75 | 49.75 divided by 50 | 99.500 |
77 | 0.25 | 76.75 | 76.75 divided by 77 | 99.675 |
89 | 0.25 | 88.75 | 88.75 divided by 89 | 99.719 |
113 | 0.25 | 112.75 | 112.75 divided by 113 | 99.778 |
138 | 0.25 | 137.75 | 137.75 divided by 138 | 99.818 |
202 | 0.25 | 201.75 | 201.75 divided by 202 | 99.876 |
