alienate the workers and the workers keep leaving.  The company could save a whole lot of $$ by eliminating the scheduler position as well as the crazy auditors!  Who thinks up this stuff.

I am pretty sure MM is in dire straights of late and it serves them right and what they are doing to try and remedy this problem is a total joke. I love it when I read that an MT is leaving or has left this place in the dust.

It is NEVER going to get better. They are going to batter and degrade and take away the pittance of benefits we have now (PTO requests denied), and of course, money, which they have already done that.

I hope everyone leaves this place. You cannot even begin to tell me you have a decent job with M*Modal and even if you think you do, do it for pride in yourself and don't take the garbage they dish out. I for one am gone in a week, no notice, no nothing. Turning the computer and e-mail and phone off. Just send me the labels to return your junk.

to work in your regular platform such as DQS or do you have to download an entirely new system to work in a hospital EMR.  My hospital is on DQS and going to EMR or Epic so I am not sure if that means all my short cuts etc are gone or we continue somehow to use both systems.  I doubt you can use short cuts in EMR but again I have no idea and I dont think you can move your short cuts out of DQS to another system and again I dont know.  Seems like I dont know much this morning at al ...

This is something that has been bothering me. I feel stupid asking, but since it's rather important, I ask.   cpl   Currently, I am making 0.083 per line typed. I see people stating things like 7 cpl or .8 cpl. Does that equate to 7.0 per lined type (seems crazy!) and 0.8 per line typed? I'm currently being offered incentive pay for working on my days off. Is transcribing Acute Care notes that much different than clinical notes?  I currently transcribe for a family practice and gastro docs who do colonoscopies and minor procedures and have typed for oncologists and cardiologists, gyns, ophthalmologists.  Can it really be that much different?  I'm asking because I think I could do it. I am a fairly quick learner and have a good grasp of terminology and worked in a rehab hospital and was exposed to a lot of H&P, discharge sum ...
