Good news and bad news. I just got off the phone with Mr. Young. He specializes in cases like mine, but only from an unemployment point-of-view, not class-action suits. He also charges $3500 to take on an individual unemployment case (sheesh might as well take my first-born). I briefly rehashed with him the fact that uf we don't comply with their new rules, they will drop our salaries by half or more, and that this has been an ongoing problem with them for years, changing our job description.
He strongly believes that we could collect unemployment but it would be wiser to wait until they let us go as they haven't lowered the boom yet. We're all afraid we will be written up for going over our 5% QA maximum while keeping 98% quality. I have not yet been written up but I'll have to wait until they do or let me go.
Mr. Young described how we could then open a "wrongful termination" unemployment case for "unreasonable demands" and would be a strong case of "constructive termination" judged in our favor.
I've never been written up before. Just how can I make them fire me?
