New DQS will integrate with TeamWork, and only allow people to work when scheduled so that MTs don't go in off-schedule and take work forcing others into the cesspool. Beta testing starts next week! Yay!!

My ccm asks part-timers to fill in all of the time. I guess that will be a thing of the past too.

The CCMs will just go into ScheduleSource and change the schedule, add the time, or have the RTL do it, for the extra work.

But in reality, we all know how slowly those wheels turn where we would have to notify our CCM that we will be doing extra and when, then she would have to get the message and go into Schedule Source to adjust it....By then, I can pretty much guarantee that it will be at least 24 hours later and well past when we wanted to put in the extra hour!

Not to mention, having to do the same thing for all the other MTs who were asked to work extra.

I work PT nights and weekends. Lately we've been running out of work. Sometimes you have to be creative to make any of it up. Telling your CCM that you will do so at x-to-x hours can be pointless, as we never know when there is work to do.

Sometimes I'm on working at 8 p.m. and others it's not until 4 or 5 a.m. that I find enough jobs available that I'm comfortable in thinking that I'm not taking away from someone else.

The last two pay periods I haven't even come close to making my scheduled 24 hours a week. I honestly believe that these dayss it's not so much people working "extra" as it is people attempting to get their normal hours, at least in my BOB. Oh well.

it's not so much a way of preventing people from working outside their schedule, but rather it will flag the time in TeamWork if it happens.

If we are offered OT or need to makeup some NJA, we will still be able to do that without it being scheduled in TeamWork first. We will just do an edit for those hours indicating why we were working.

On the other hand, if we get NJA or can't work as scheduled, that time will also be flagged and we will have to do an edit indicating the reason.

It's really all about improving the TAT and ensuring the right number of people are working so nothing is late.

Once everything is implemented company wide, they will use DQM/DQS/TeamWork totals to see who the high and low producers are. They will then incorporate that information with the GAP analysis. The higher producers will be scheduled to work during heavy report times and the lower producers during the other times. This will help them fine tune scheduling and eliminate any excess employees they have.

I don't like this new change coming and I hope things are really messed up with TeamWork and they scrub the whole thing. I want to be able to set my own schedule and not be told what times I will be working.

than we already have. Also, judging from the change in my CCM's previously quick response to emails and calls to now greatly delayed to no response since they got rid of the CTLs, things could get worse and their workload increased even more. They already are doing the work of three people, their original job and two positions that were deleted and added to their work duties.

As usual...another way for this Corporate Monolith to over manage - and make things far more difficult

I really do not think that keeping MTs to a STRICT to the minute time schedule is the primary problem. If this company would STOP over-corporatizing EVERYTHING and inspire MTs to produce more with a decent pay and incentive (HELLO...We are PRODUCTION based...we NEED incentive)..they would not need to spend millions on fancy doodads in Gestapo Time Management because production would go up up up. Another example of how this company whose revenue is generated by MTs has absolultely no idea of the process...NONE.

Funny. Here they go again. Trying something new that isn't going to work. Sheesh. I have this figured out. Think very hard about this. If Corporate didn't muck around with stuff, they would have absolutely nothing to do. Seriously, what would they do?

yep, they've got to show for something to justify 1/9999999th of their 6-figure salaries! I really respect some of those owners of companies who didn't give themselves raises (remember 1 Japanese guy doing that) out of respect for his employees who were suffering so much because of the economy. Now, that's what I call really appreciating your employees. However, he probably made so much before anyway that it didn't hurt him, but still I applaude him for doing that -- we'll never see that with MQ's suits - ya, think? They don't care that we have nothing in our pockets, can't make ends meet, losing homes, cars,etc.

Our hospital is losing a lot of coders to services. I don't know which ones, might be the same, might be different. My question is, are these services kind of like MT services where you work for a national company and get a particular hospital to do their coding and get crappy benefits if any?
