Can anyone tell me how flex time works - MQMT

at Medquist. I may be taking a different job but kind of wanted to keep this just in case I hate it or the pay is even worse, though I doubt that will happen. Is there a minimum? Are you just on call for heavy times? Just there for trades, etc.?

sometimes they refer to the flex part-timers can do such-and-such and I always wonder what in the heck that means? I just have to make minimum (2000 lines per week) but I only work usually 14 hours a week. It works for me since I have a p/t job somewhere else too.

But yea like someone said, I think you can't be hired for it anymore. I was lucky and got in just before the door closed. Kind of like Raiders of the Lost Ark and getting under the cave door before it closes.

I was told that I could not be flex part time almost 2 years ago and have asked several times since and told that this position was eliminated.

I sure would love to know when you were hired for that. I always get the screwdriver!

I recently dropped to PT and also have to do 2000 lines per PP. But I also have to do 24 hours week. I can easily get those reqired lines in working less than 24 hours. I wish there WAS flex PT, I'd do it in a heartbeat!

Does Nuance offer flex time? I got an email from my CCM and she asked about us being flex PT. I am wondering if this position is going to be discontinued and we will have to do regular PT? I only hold onto this crummy job as a second in case my regular job goes caput (sp)!
