For those who have quit MModal...ever been asked back? - Coco

I spoke with an old colleague of mine last week from our old U of Miami's MT days who recently quit months into her new job at MModal because she said it was too much aggravation and headaches for so little pay. She told me last week that after quitting the job, MModal called her back asking if she would come back to work for them.
How hilarious! MModal thinks that folks are joking when they quit this lousy job and begs for them to come back...still with the lousy paycheck and headaches attached to it.
How many of you out there who were lucky enough to break free of MModal...only to get the call to come back to work for them?

So, I couldn't take the nonsense and quit, and then about 2 weeks later I got a call asking me back. They wanted to know what they could do for me to come back. I thought that was pretty funny! Harass and threaten to fire me, then call and ask me back? Ha!!

[ In Reply To ..]at least 2000, when it was still Medquist, I found a better job with a MTSO in Florida, excellent place. I left for an in-house job that lasted 9 years before we were outsourced. A couple years after I left MQ, I got a call asking me if I wanted to come back, and I told them not if you were the last MTSO on earth. No lie, that's what I said.

Hello, I would like to transcribe from home again. However, I HAVE to get up and walk for a few minutes at least once an hour. You see, I had to have 2 back surgeries in the last 18 months. Evidently it is an unwritten rule at my company that when you are asked to work hours outside of your shift, or over 40 hours, it is a given that you are to do so with no extra pay.
