I took a test for Medquist three months ago and was told I didni't pass, even when I know I had to have. I got a call this afternoon from someone in HR about wanting me to please take the test again. Is this company worth working for? I've looked online and some people are posting that they are only making $7-9 an hour? Any help with this would be sincerely appreciated. Thank you!

Please don't. I don't know where you are working now but I've spent the day in tears. I've been with the the various companies they bought out for 10 years and it's gotten horrible since they took over. They are sending all accounts they can overseas. There is nothing left for us. Pay has gone down to minimum wage.

I don't think I'd want to rely on MQ for full-time employment based on what I've read posted here, but I wouldn't mind getting a PT position with them. The PTers who have communicated with me apparently seem to always have work for some odd reason.

Yes, I am part-time and I always have work except on holidays. Labor Day, I only had 1 small report.

I think that everyone has different experiences, different managers etc., and you cannot judge the whole company on a few negatives. I would advise starting out PT and see what you think, if you can afford it. My experience with MQ has been overall good, but I am PT. Don't stress over making a lot of money, but these days remember the people with no job or have been unemployed for quite awhile. We are lucky to be able to do this especially at home. If you want or need the benefits, go FT, it is worth the try. I say 'give it a try'. Don't base your decision on just these negative postings.

I need some help. I recently became a single mom....and then lost my previous job due to taking some time off to gain custody of my niece due to an abuse situation she was in. Has anyone else answered ads for them. You do a really EASY test. They offer to train you for free.. then send you emails... basically to schedule a job interview. You text them. In a nutshell, I graduated from Career Step in 2007 with High Honors and worked for TRS for a year. I was happy at TRS and produced quality work (98.5% accuracy). Fifteen years ago, I worked for a certain employer and was terminated after 4 months in a particular position. I recently applied to that same employer for the same job. I worked for Viera Diagnostic in Viera, Florida for the past 3 years. I broke my leg recently and they said they didn't need me anymore, as I need physical therapy three times a week to insure mobility in the future. Hello All, I just received the results of my pre-employment testing. I have not had to "score" on a test in quite some time.
