Been on this account for three months and still cannot get my production where I need it to be in order to not work day and night to make minimum line counts, or most weeks not hit them at all.  Found out I am not the only one that has complained; I talked with mgt two weeks ago and still had not heard anything.  I contacted THEM today; I was told to be patient, they think they have found another place for me but need to fill my position first.  The problem is, I have a couple of job offers I need to seriously consider.  I know I annoyed her by pushing the issue today, but they cannot give me a time frame as to when this will happen and I am leary in staying with this co as I don't really care for their platform.  Shall I push the issue further to find out a time frame or just take another job offer?  Don't totally hate company, but no one seems to be in any big hurry here.

I really wish I could talk to some other MTs that work for the company I work for. I thought too that they were good, wanting you to succeed, but now I am beginning to have my doubts. More than half the time there is no work. Why is that? Is it because they continue to hire more people? And, if that is the case, why would they do that I ask. I have proven myself and yet there is no work. As low as the pay is, I also need this job. I fear if I apply to other jobs I would run into the same thing or worse according to the many posts I read here. Feel free to e-mail me thru this board if you want. I have e-mailed people from time to time and they never respond. I mean my gosh, why is everyone so afraid to really help one another with support and information. THis is my life I am talking about, not some board to just lash out at others for no reason.

The workload is not the issue in my situation and that is what concerns me. I find the platform kind of bulky and slow. When you spend more time getting in and out of a job than typing it (short jobs), it is frustrating. Also the quality of dictation is poor with quite a few docs. This is weird, though, because I have strong background in ESL but these American ones I am having difficulty with. I did notice one doc today though that I had complained about a lot of static in the background came across real clear. So hopefully they have made some changes, but there is a lot of tedious work involved. I am not used to having to hunt this information down and find it time consuming (pt info, etc.)

I'd go. I had the same deal at my last employment. They couldn't fill my position - nobody could get anywhere with it as far as meeting lines and so nobody would take the account. They were hoping I'd get tired of complaining and suffer in silence. I got a zillion "you can't go because..." before I went anyway. Sometimes you have to look out for yourself.

I am starting a new acct tomorrow.  I sure hope I dont have to go through training.  We never have been trained on the cesspool that we get, we just get new accts when our regular work is caught up, so why do we need training on a new account?  That is ridiculous.  MQ, please just let me work and make a living.  Stop with all this changing CCMs and assigning new accts.  This coming pay check I probably will have 2 days on it if that much.  Geez.. ...

I'm on accts that do not allow any blanks at all through to the cliient.  ALL blanks must go to QA.  I haven't ever worked on an acct that would not even allow one blank to the client.  Anyhow, might not would be so bad but the dictators are TERRIBLE!  Many ESLs also.  Combine no blanks allowed with terrible dictators = sending more to QA.  That means docked pay if 5% or more.  Oh, and don't let me forget, no samples yet.  So you have to ho ...
