Is it possible to transfer to another team? sm - anna rexia

I want to be transferred to another team to be under another supervisor, and where there is more work. Has anyone ever done that? Is it possible, and if so, how difficult is the process? Thanks in advance.

I was constantly running out of work on my team and asked to be switched to another team that had work available. At first I was told I could switch to the Dictaphone platform but would have to return my company equipment and take a pay cut in order to do so (I was with Webmedx previously and we get a differential for our platform and we had company equipment). I thought that was a crazy suggestion, so I didn't do that. I was then switched fairly easily to another team on the same platform and was told that there was plenty of work, yada, yada. I started on that team and had some of the most horrendous accounts but had less work available than I had previously. Luckily I was able to find something else and just ended up putting in my notice a couple of weeks later. Hopefully switching teams will work out better for you, but I think the low/no work situation is pretty much across the board at Nuance right now. Maybe you could ask to talk to other members (MTs) of the team you are going to be on before you switch?

I have done it 3 times in less than a year. So yes. - anon

Is there anywhere to get the instructions on transferring expansions? Has anyone heard of VMR-Transfer? Their website is www.vmr-transfer.com. They claim they are a transcription company that specializes in transcription for veterinarians.
