whom I work wanting to know if I was typing or sleeping. Well, I was sleeping but could have been typing then since I was wide awake after that. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. Don't particularly like the job anyway and this just added fuel to the fire. One would think the overnight clerks would have a list of who is scheduled to work overnight shift and who is not. Then to add insult to injury, got stuck with the 1 dictator that I cringe when I see his name pop up. Got him back to back for several jobs. Just needed to vent a little.

At one company I previously worked for, they had a reputation for constant phone calls. Knowing this, as soon as this starting occurring to me, I told them in no uncertain terms that I was to be put on a "do not call" list. They were welcome to e-mail me, IM when I was working, but absolutely don't ever use the phone to contact me. This was an invasion of my family's time and rude.

If a company has a schedule of when people are working, then call those who are scheduled.

If I had a phone call on a shift other than the one I work, the company had better offer me a very nice incentive for me to work a different shift or day than normal.

In any other work situation besides MT, an employee or IC would be compensated for a request to work an additional shift. I know the economy stinks, but that does not excuse an MTSO from being rude and inconsiderate.

I bought MagicJack, 20 a year, and when the computer is not on, the phone is not on. I got called all hours, days off, you name it, now they can't get through on my off hours as I keep it turned off.

I'm getting so tired of having a report or two, then NJA, then while waiting another report comes, then NJA, etc., etc., early in my shift. Sure, we have been encouraged to just check back later on and work then. I really don't know why they suggest or even allow this to happen. I am sick to death of typing on accounts not in my BOB! This is the 4th one already and I am only an hour into my shift. There are no samples in the repositry, there are no jobs that come up under the dictator look up feature... I keep stuffing down the Tums, wondering why in the heck I was forced to do weekend hours when there is no work in my accounts on the weekend. I HATE THIS. How do you all do it? Well, to the poster below in ESL garbage land, first let me say. I too was in that same place 2 weeks ago. An addition to my regular account, but it was all I was getting and NOT getting my OP notes at all. The reports were not more than 20 lines usually, but I spent much, much time in trying to decipher and be FTR.
