I think I have not worked on a Friday morning, the day after Thanksgiving, for the last 4 years because of NO JOBS AVAILABLE.

Not here. There are jobs up the waazoo. Even got called LAST NIGHT, DURING DINNER to work extra (yes, I was scheduled off AND had the family in and had too much wine to work!) and then they called bright and early this morning.

Wish I could send some your way. I wish there were enough jobs evenly spread out for us all. Sorry about your SA not having the work for you. Blessed Holiday to you and yours.

Normally for the whole SA5 area, we have around 7,000-8,000 jobs that need to be done. This morning? 391 jobs total out of HUNDREDS of accounts. Looks like the whole SA5 area is very, very low for work.

How do you know what region you are in ? - I just know west, south,

SA means - service area.... that is just another abbreviation the Q likes to have.

Is there a list somewhere of the SA numbers - and where they are ? (nm)

I've never seen it this low either. I don't work for another 3 hours, but as it stands right now there are no jobs in my BOB. I suppose it'll pick up a bit and I'll get a ton of garbage clinic notes. If not, well gee, I suppose I can look forward to working on my days off - again.

I may get in trouble here, but personally I wish they'd open it back up. I'd just as soon work an unknown cesspool as a known one and actually get my days off OFF!

Yes... apparently the accounts I have save their work and start sending a lot of it in late Wednesday through the weekend which makes it very difficult to keep in TAT. Bunch of dummies if you ask me!

I'm getting so tired of having a report or two, then NJA, then while waiting another report comes, then NJA, etc., etc., early in my shift. Sure, we have been encouraged to just check back later on and work then. I really don't know why they suggest or even allow this to happen. It was slow last night too. I had to work back to back for the holiday with no holiday pay late last night while others were celebrating around the neighborhood. I am sick to death of typing on accounts not in my BOB! This is the 4th one already and I am only an hour into my shift. There are no samples in the repositry, there are no jobs that come up under the dictator look up feature... I keep stuffing down the Tums, wondering why in the heck I was forced to do weekend hours when there is no work in my accounts on the weekend. I HATE THIS. How do you all do it? Who put me in this "helper pool" in the first place? ...

Well, to the poster below in ESL garbage land, first let me say. I too was in that same place 2 weeks ago. An addition to my regular account, but it was all I was getting and NOT getting my OP notes at all. The reports were not more than 20 lines usually, but I spent much, much time in trying to decipher and be FTR.
