give me any advice on this program? I've never used Instant Text before...or Autocorrect (used to work for MM - they had their own expander)....but now I have a job where I use MS Word. It's taking forever to make my expanders....and now I am hearing that if you put too many in there it can slow things down? And that it's easy to lose all of your expanders!
Does anyone love/hate Instant text as compared to AutoCorrect? Do you think it's worth the money? I'm down to my last few bucks so can't really afford to buy it unless it is REALLY much better than AutoCorrect....help please!!!
You will be faster which means a better paycheck, and you will spare your fingers.
Typing a few letters to have your expander execute all the finger-twisting keyboard shortcuts you need to press to correct VR mistakes is much easier and keeps your fingers on the home-row.
Editing may require new skills in creating macro-like expansions. Once they are done, you'll see the difference as you did when spending time on making lists of words and phrases.
using the free download at link below.
You can import your .aco (MM) file and your .acl (Autocorrect) file with a few clicks.
