They are already yelling at you and acting like YOU (not the minions before you - and they can't see a difference) can't follow directions or would apply for work you have no exp in after they've asked for experience. Dude, toss those resumes. Simple. E-mail them back and chastise them not the new batch answering your cry for workers. I won't answer those ads. It all looks good, otherwise. Except that are already angry and more than willing to take it out on you. Sounds great. If you only you paid bad, too.
and the ads that sound like an advertisement for a used car lot. all I need to know is PT/FT, specialty, required software to be compatible, method of transfer, rate of pay, and TAT. A heads up on the fact that it's a diff dictator would be nice but not necessary.. you'll find that out on your own. Can't hide that for long :D.

[ In Reply To ..]Clases start in 2 weeks or less (college classes - please skip the career colleges, certificate programs). Take one. At least, just one. Do an online distance course. Your age is not an issue here, your sanity and peace of mind is at stake. Maybe you won't WANT to retire yet, I doubt you can afford full retirement anyway unless there's a hubby.
Like I tell my kids, if you're not moving forward you're going backwards. There is no standing still.
Join me this semester and take any class any 2 classes and you qualify for an in-school deferment some credit unions have Sallie Mae school loans for FT/PT and less than PT 12 h is FT 6 PT so one class at 3 hours would qualify you for the loan if you can't pay up front.
We make so little money now Pell grants are probably a real option.
Just pull up a Fall schedule and look through it or go to a college's webpage and look at their degrees and programs. The options are wide and varied. It's invigorating. I see classes I'd like to take just for fun.

[ In Reply To ..]interested in UPGRADING their equipment to be more compatible with the MTs equipment, and they wouldn't have such a difficult time finding just the "right fit" with the MT. Putting demands on the MT before they even send in their resumes is aggravating to say the least. If the advertiser kept up with the times and had the newer technology, they would find the right person instead of getting mad at us who apply anyway, hoping for a bit of leniency. after all, 2010 is compatible with 2007. 2007 was 7 years ago... get with the times and upgrade your equipment so the MTs can apply without having so many restrictions placed on them!!

So, you hope they might consider you if you don't have the experience and you send you resume not knowing it was an unforgiveable crime, now. After all, it is all learnable. And most of us DO hit the ground running. :)
I worked at a hospital where radiology was my first responsibility and I had a VA contract where I did all the radiology but I don't have RECENT ( last 2 to 5 years except random ortho films) experience and nobody would consider me for a radiology position.. 20 years experience isn't enough. :D
They can be demanding and unbending because there are so many of us looking for decent work .. it's a buyers' market. :) so to speak.
But rudeness isn't right. And it's not directed at anybody in particular just everyone in general in case, just in case, you were going to submit a resume to them they won't like - and to them, waste their time.
Chances are if they are rude in their job posts - sm - JavaMomMT

Here I am, getting shuffled around in the 'cesspool', a dozen unfamilar accounts. You have your decent accounts with just the basics. Then, you have the CPs that are a long as novels and, if you miss something, you will hear about it, the fact it is in the CP and you shouldn't make such a mistake. I already spend so much time reading CPs, that I then get warnings that my production has fallen. So much for a consistent layout of CPs. I have to hunt for desired PE format, etc... ...

I have a doctor's appointment and the doctor/specialist WILL NOT make it for a day I am off. So, I requested time off w/o pay for the day.
