i am waiting until i have three weeks of vacation saved up untiil i can start a nurses aid training course. it may be foolish, but i am paying my tuition to them in increments so i will not have such a big bill when the tuition comes due. they start classes once a month.
i have been appling for jobs all over the place, not transcription. i do get a lot of "thanks but no thanks" form letters. i am getting discouraged.
i am on the sunny-side of 60 (59 next month) and hoping to just poke around at this transcription thing until i turn 62 and can collect my meager pension (168.00 a month after 10 years of working, and 20.00 a month from my 5 years of working previous employer) plus SS and my 403B.
i did go to the salvation army and they had a trumpet there for like 43.00. it seemed to be in fair condition and i bought it. i don't know how to play the trumpet, but i can learn. right now being in a polka band is looking pretty good.
