Wondering if anyone could give me some tips or suggestions on Nuance hiring. I thought I had applied a year ago and did not hear from them. When I went back in to try again it still showed that I was "being considered for the position" and would not allow me to apply to any other job opening. After trying my best with very little resources I just created a new account and reapplied to the position. I still have not heard from them and it has been 3 weeks. I was just wondering from those who have applied and been hired if they have a long period of time before they contact their prospective hires or if there is some kind of support help that I can email or call to make sure my account is working properly. It is difficult not knowing if they even have my application. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Thanks so much in advance!

I would probably go the old fashion route and try calling them directly. Let them know you are really interested and you noticed they were hiring again.

Maybe send an email to the recruiter or something to draw attention to yourself. Did you submit a resume? Most of the places I applied to when I was looking I just copied and pasted my resume in the email, and to this day I still get occasional emails asking me to test or offering me a position.

Try one of the above methods. Hopefully someone who works for them will come along and give you more helpful information.

I guess that is where a lot of my frustration comes from is that I have been unable to find any contact info. The only help I found was a link to frequently asked questions about navigating their application pages. That was why I decided to post on here to see if anyone else may have some info about it. I really want to apply for this position as they use the same platform that I am currently using and just want to add a PT job to my current one to help with those lovely bills that a lot of people are struggling with right now. I was thinking if I was able to find a company that used the same program I have been using for 2 years the learning curve would be quicker and I could get through training and into production sooner.

I applied in September of last year and was hired in November. Do you have experience? Or did you graduate with honors from a reputable program recently? I know they screen people based on that. Hope you hear back soon, they are a great company! :)

experience, love the program. I did train through Career Step but never finished the internship as I was hired with my current company and could not pass up an opportunity to get on the job training close to home. I have worked for them for 2 years now and really like the system so was hoping to get on with another company that uses the same one. I have just been leery they are not getting my information since I had such a difficult time the first time I applied. Thanks for your info. Guess I will just continue to hope and be patient. :) Any other suggestions of good companies out there that use ES I can apply for too?

Is this common (the 1 yr exp only requirement). Transcend has always required at least 3 years. One has to wonder if the 1 year exp is an easy ploy to offer lower pay. I worry about this since from what we can summize we will be moved to be in line with Nuance payscale at some point shortly. Is anyone else make this 1 yr experience connection? ...

WTF is going on? I am no longer an MT, but I still care about a lot of people who are still TRYING to work at the Q. I want to work a part time job to supplement my other part time job at Nuance because sometimes there is no work. I see an opening at TTS but when reviewing posts about TTS it sounds like a bad place to work with incompetent recruiters and managers. It seems 95% of the posts are bad regarding TTS. some part-timers anyway, why not offer weekends to part-timers and offer some Mon-Fri shifts for the experienced full-time MTs you're trying to get..... That's about the only way you're going to get many experienced quality MTs. And there are always plenty of MTs looking for part-time weekend work as a 2nd job. ...

The ad they have placed here indicates wanting 40 people for new accounts, etc. However, I just received an email about job openings for only 2 very heavy ESL 1-9 shifts. Is this just a scam so that employers don't have to pay benefits and employer taxes? I bet if there was an audit, most ICs and MTSOs would be in trouble for using that classification improperly, especially for the full-time positions. I see ads for Medtrans all over the internet for all different cities and you go to their website and it seems they are pushing you to take their course and then they will hire you. I am just confused because I keep seeing the companies advertise for months, yet they seem to say "no" a lot. I have 12 yrs experience in acute care, radiology, and clinic, and it's amazing to me how for some reason it seems impossible to pass these tests. Is it just me? ...
