Are you all happy now? Looks like the M*Modal coding students are gone. You seem to have been successful in driving them off.

Now when you want advice, you won't have to "wade through" anything because the board is again devoid of anything interesting.

When some people say this board is devoid of "anything interesting" now, what they are really saying is that it is devoid of DRAMA. This board is *peaceful* now without the MModal DRAMA and some of us really like it that way.

Now we can get back to what this board is intended for ... CODING.

You can support each other. I am sad that we can't follow along on your journey but it did turn out to be impossible to do here. If there was only an ignore button we could hit. I do hope you will still come back from time to time and tell us how it is going!

It was nothing against them personally. I am happy they are being trained. I think it's awesome, and yes, I am interested in how they are doing, but I also saw some posts that were a waste of time. I wish them all the best of luck!

For drama. We come here for professional discussions about coding & coding issues. If you want drama or excitement you can always watch a soap opera.

You could also have recognized that 90% of that drama was the result of a whole swatch of posts that were moved here from another board, and was unlikely to continue.

It was not just me, obviously, who feels that way, as there are many messages from people who did not like the drama. I think it's pretty sad that you were using the MModal coder's training and subsequent attacks made on them by others from MModal as entertainment to appease your boredom. I am happy they went to another place where they can actually get help and support each other, and not attacked for anything and everything they said. This is their future . . . not just something to be used for your entertainment purposes.

There's never any shortage of drama over there, that's why it all followed them here. It was kind of a "new turf" to explore ... it was never about getting coding advice.

Anyone who misses all the "interesting" drama can feel free to visit them over there, most of them still post there.

I've been at TTS for almost 3 years and I have nothing but positive things to say about TTS. I never have to guess what TTS expects from me, and I do my best to deliver that on a consistent basis. Communication flows freely and efficiently. My team leader and 2 shift leads are EXCELLENT managers in my opinion. Everything I invest in my job comes back to me and then some. I am surprised at just how many or your are miserable with what you do. I am a new MT ans I am also having trouble finding work. It's not easy. I was laid off as an MT a couple of months ago. I am wondering if there is a single person on this forum who is an MT who is happy with their job (including the miniscule pay that would be appropriate compensation if it were around 1975 rather than 2013 or lived in another country in which one can buy a lot more with 50 cents). Sunday it will be 2 months I have been at my new position since leaving MM. I no longer need to take Prilosec daily and my dr. has decreased my BP med. Furthermore, I was asked after a month if I would like to do full time editing at 6 cpl AND I get paid for every single line I edit....not less than half that MM pays their MMEs. I left MT to work from Hertz at home in April where they hired 64 employees. The week after labor day, without any warning, they called all of us in and laid us off. They took the insurance the same day and gave us our sign on bonus that we had earned and a severance check, provided we signed a covenant not to sue...so it is not only Transcription companies that have no regard for their employees, it is most companies...So I ask myself...Is anybody truly happy with their jobs??? ...
