I've been at TTS for almost 3 years and I have nothing but positive things to say about TTS.  I never have to guess what TTS expects from me, and I do my best to deliver that on a consistent basis.  Communication flows freely and efficiently.  My team leader and 2 shift leads are EXCELLENT managers in my opinion.  Everything I invest in my job comes back to me and then some.  I can recommend TTS to anybody unapologetically.

I've worked for TTS for several years now as well. I have heartily recommended TTS to several former coworkers and the ones who have taken my advice and applied are also happy at TTS. I read these boards before I applied to TTS and I am glad I did not listen to the disgruntled ex-employee posts.

I, too, am very happy at TTS, and I have been job hopping for about the last 10 years of my 40 years of experience. Job hopping because of companies misrepresenting the accounts I would work on, the amount of work available, how fantastic their software platform was (NOT~!), team leads who were totally overworked and could not get back to me when I needed them to, inaccurate payroll accounting, losing accounts, and on and on.

I none of that at TTS, am very happy with the communication (quick and clear), plenty of work although I do have to work two or three accounts sometimes, but then sometimes there is work available over my 40 hours a week.

Just my experience.

I am extremely happy working for TTS. I log on, work, am always there when I'm supposed to be and have NEVER seen any of the crap those other threads have been posting. I'm treated fairly and always have any questions answered right away. Finally a positive thread but watch out...they won't let us have our "happy" thread for long before we start getting bashed. I would recommend TTS to anyone without a doubt.

Good luck to all of you that you don't make an error. It's awful to be fired after great quality reviews and 3 years of service like I was. To me it was a ruthless move on the part of management and a sign of things to come for MTs - especially at TTS. It can happen to you.

By the way, how did you all get together on MT Stars to profess your happiness? Did you e-mail each other to defend the company or did you randomly decide to post? The time frame between 4 (FOUR) happy TTS posters who showed up between first post 11:48 and 12:38 to post is unbelievably amazing considering TTS is a pretty small company.

Y'all should really pace yourself to be credible.

I wouldn't have repeated my story except to warn the happy FOUR (4) TTS posters that bad things can happen to happy TTS MTs.

Why are you so mean spirited? Do you have a vested interest in not wanting posters to know what happens at TTS?

I have been called a "whiner" and told by posters to "get over it or move on" about my experience at Transcend. I just wanted all to know my story, which does not portray any positives about Transcend, and I notice on this board every week they are more and more "unhappy" Transcenders. I think everyone should post their good or bad experiences - either way it is informative. So if there is a post and you can make a comment - good or bad - that is what this board is for. If otheres do not like what you have to say they can JUST MOVE ON BY your post, simple as that.

I am also very happy with my decision to work for TTS. My account is always full of work, team leaders, owner, QA, everyone has been extremely helpful and not at all like the disgruntled ex-employees have complained about. I also know what's expected of me and I also deliver. I don't call in sick, work my hours and then some and accept criticism as a learning tool, not a personal attack. This is an instance where you get what you give.

I have been in the business for over 15 years, have owned my own company and have found this company to be head and shoulders above the rest out there. While you're complaining about TTS, I will be happily typing away in a job I am absolutely happy to show up for every day and am thankful to have found.

For those considering TTS, please do try it out for yourself and don't listen to those with an ax to grind.

You are the second poster who mentions an "axe to grind" as the reason for MTs who don't like TTS to post their experiences with the company. Is this some sort of a talking point? I haven't heard that phrase in years and all of a sudden two TTS happy posters use the phrase.

Love it when people use different names to post but use the same phrase to describe posters who have not had pleasant experience with TTS.

I think it is sad you need to defend TTS, attacking posters and assuming the posters are lying and/or have an "axe to grind."

The time frame is pretty amazing though and that phrase "axe to grind" is a bit old school. I really haven't heard it for years and it's just ironic it showed up here twice within the last hour by 2 different posters who are happy TTS MTs. LOL.

Relax. Go enjoy this beautiful spring day. It's not like you have any reason to worry about TTS reputation. Less employees, more work for your - right?

When 1 MT goes on a campaign to put down her MTSO she may post under 1 or 2 different names, but you can see by the shear volume of responses on this board that this is NOT a small number of people complaining about this company. Not buying that theory at all.

experience. All accounts are ALL VR so you better like that type of work, nearly no text at all. You better work your schedule exactly as hired for or you will get an email asking where you are-within 15 minutes- whether you are IC or employee. They also track your keystrokes, so if you are scheduled for a 4 hour shift and the system only shows you ACTIVELY working the keyboard for 3 hours, you OWE them an hour and you will get an email. The client profiles on ALL accounts changes constantly and you are expected to keep up with it. QA every 2-3 months after initial training, but good QA staff so mostly helpful. Descent tech support. The owner runs a TIGHT ship and for me I just want to do my job and not sweat the little stuff, like getting up to use the bathroom and get a drink, oops 15 minutes not on keyboard, so you WILL get an email when statistics are run that you owe them, so I left. Accounts run out of work alot but they do cross train, so usually have something to do, some run out more than others. Mainly, ALL TIME OFF HAS TO BE APPROVED, NO MATTER IF ONLY 15 MINUTES, plus the keyboard monitoring is a pain. But, if you don't mind be watched (short of putting a webcam on your computer) then work for TTS.

I get regular feedback from TTS from the 8 different accounts I work, so that's a substantial amount of feedback. If I get fired, I will have been duly warned. And if I make a mistake (and I've made my share and continue to do so), I own it, accept it, learn from it, and grow professionally. It keeps me credible.

It's so nice to see so many happy MTs from TTS. I give them all I can and then some. I'm happy to go to work every day. I work, they leave me alone, I'm there when I'm supposed to be, they give me feedback when appropriate and we all get along great. Yes, we could ignore the bashers but why should we. They are just repeating the same things we see on the other threads. If I want to hear that again I'll go read those threads. I'd rather they just leave us alone on this one. We already know their story. They have nothing new to say.

I am surprised at just how many or your are miserable with what you do.  I am a new MT ans I am also having trouble finding work.  It's not easy.  I can see that having editing to fall back on would be good.  I have read the posts about don't do this just to work from home.  I have small children and my only choice would be daycare if I went to work somewhere, which would eat up half my pay check.  Sometimes it's not just money, sometimes it's fo ...

I'm starting training on a new job this weekend and 90% of it is VR, but all clinic notes, no ops or discharge summaries. It seems like it might easy and a nice change from straight typing for me. I am wondering if there is a single person on this forum who is an MT who is happy with their job (including the miniscule pay that would be appropriate compensation if it were around 1975 rather than 2013 or lived in another country in which one can buy a lot more with 50 cents). Sunday it will be 2 months I have been at my new position since leaving MM. I no longer need to take Prilosec daily and my dr. has decreased my BP med. Furthermore, I was asked after a month if I would like to do full time editing at 6 cpl AND I get paid for every single line I edit....not less than half that MM pays their MMEs. So far, every pay check has been on time and accurate. Two months out and I am making more than I ever made at MM and I expect it to increase as my skills get even b ...

I left MT to work from Hertz at home in April where they hired 64 employees. The week after labor day, without any warning, they called all of us in and laid us off.  They took the insurance the same day and gave us our sign on bonus that we had earned and a severance check, provided we signed a covenant not to sue...so it is not only Transcription companies that have no regard for their employees, it is most companies...So I ask myself...Is anybody truly happy with their  jobs??? ...
