anyone who tested for DTSOK heard back? - brokeMT

Has anyone who tested for DTSOK heard back? I tested for them 10 days ago and the website said applicants would hear back immediately if they did not pass or would be contacted by a recruiter within 72 hours.

I worked for DTSOK for years and loved the company. They were not the highest paying company, but they certainly cared about their employees, (if this is DTS in Oklahoma City). I would suggest e-mailing them at Recruiter@DTSOK.com.

I worked for them this past year and they must have changed since then because that was not my impression. Also the platforms they use, Crescendo Medrite XL and SpeechMotion with M*Modal editor, are very time-consuming and very slow. I sure wouldn't recommend them at all.

They have their own way of weeding out, so you never know. Plus, it seemed like they were busy, and that could be a good sign...you never know. Plus, they do not tell you the pay nor what exactly they are looking for. They ask you what you want and if you say you want afternoons, nights, weekends, full time and low pay...you may be considered a good candidate. Then feel good about yourself because you were considered and are a possible abuse victim...again.

Your post actually made me chuckle. Next time a company asks what "I'm looking for" I'll say 70 hours a week at less than minimum wage, if nothing else but to see how they respond ;-)

Oh yeah, I'm also looking for 98% totally indecipherable ESLs and a platform that bogs down and hangs up, etc., etc., at least every 30 minutes or so.

I decided to email them before testing and ask the cost of insurance. If they don't answer back then I don't want to work for them.

They are terrible at getting back to you. I know some people that they called back and said their test looked great and that they would call them in a couple of weeks. They never heard from them.

Oh man I don't want to get my hopes up but I submitted my application the other day and today was asked to do the online "organizational fit assessment." You would think they would have the decency to say either you passed the test or failed, or that we are no longer hiring and thank you for applying. Breitner's test was through MTTEST and I made it all the way to the practical part transcription test and feel I did very good. The UnitedTranscription test was on their website, and I believe I did good also. ...
