anyone else who works at Webmedx get an 8am call from Medquist? I work the night shift so was asleep when I got this automated phone call from Medquist. how did they get mt number and why call so early?

Said my application status had been updated. I applied *2 years ago* when I was a new grad. As disenchanted as I have been with WMX lately, I still wouldn't go to MQ.

I got a call from them, recruiter, and I quit under less than optimal (LOL) circumstances 2 years ago.

The organization previously known as AAMT used to sell their mailing lists to companies and vendors. MQ could have also bought a list from MTIA. For that matter, if you worked for another company in the past, it may now be owned by MQ, so they now have your information.

Automated calls would really tick me off. I would be tempted to call their HR department number and make a complaint.

I had been getting calls from MQ for a while after being laid off from an in-house position. Yet, then I went on to take their test. When they asked if I had ever worked for them before...yes I did and it was in the timeframe where they had a class-action suit against them and the office personnel were absolutely horrible. Well, the reply said I did not pass their test but they could not tell me why..unfortunately. I felt I did pass their test and I wanted then to know which ones I missed. Probably because I indicated that yes I did in the past work for them. Circumstances being that they bought the account that I was on at another service. They did not really want me working on the account and wanted their own people. The supervisor on the account was very nasty and rude. I'm sure she still works there.

Still got the automated calls even a few times after. But, then they got probably other 'poor unfortunate' despirate souls to apply. When they are despirate, the machine will call again.

This just started happening to me yesterday. Have sent nothing to QA, but 2 reports are showing up in feedback status when I went into DQM to check client profile. Does this mean I'm on 100% review? Can they do that without notification? This non-communication to us from management is driving me crazy!!! ...

I am tired and frustrated from applying and sending out resumes only to be ignored. It is like a game with them, I think. MedGarde even has an interview which has absolutely nothing to do with your skills or qualifications. In fact it seems like psychological testing to see if you are mentally competent or something like that. I am considering requesting this pay which (depending on the state) considers us to be on-call and must be paid for part of our shift if no work. I have had it up to here with Nuance and running out of work, adding more and more accounts and STILL no work. An account manager sent out an email suggesting that we monitor our emails on our weekend days off, and then log on to help if requested. Am I the only one who expects to not check emails or work during my one weekend day off? Even though I have a required schedule, should I expect to work 7 days a week in this industry, including on my days off? Does anyone have experience with being on call, whether you have to be paid for on-call time? My husband works a job in maintenance and they just recently cut their hours back to 32 hours per week, having them off on Fridays. They told them that if an "emergency" occured on their off day that they would be called in. I started a new job at the beginning of September, but I don't think I'll be there much longer mainly due (1) lack of work on my account lately, and (2) it turns out I really don't like having to punch in and out and stick to a schedule. But another thing, which doesn't factor (as much) into my desire to leave this company, is their so-called incentive plan.
