Is anyone else getting unsolicited QS feedback? - CyberlandMT

This just started happening to me yesterday. Have sent nothing to QA, but 2 reports are showing up in feedback status when I went into DQM to check client profile. Does this mean I'm on 100% review? Can they do that without notification? This non-communication to us from management is driving me crazy!!!

It could be that the account you are working on requires 100% QA or that particular dictator requires QA. There is also the possibility of QAC doing an audit.

We were told a month or so ago that instead of each MT being audited individually, they were going to go over a group of reports from each hospital and, if you had errors in one of those audited reports, you would be informed.

So don't sweat it, I doubt you're 100% review, you probably just popped up in a hospital audit.

I found one of my documents QAd, too - And I did not sent it to QA.

I left one QA marker which the QA person didn't get either, but they did add the word, "the". Big deal. Are they spot-checking our work now because we aren't sending enough reports to them to do?

Where the job has been marked 100% accurate, but when I look @ it, it shows QA/whomever made a correction. The correction is that he/she took out my period and inserted his/her own. What's the difference?

This happened to me a few times when I was working as an MT and I asked my then QC about it. I can't remember for certain the answer I was given but it had something to do about there being an occasional glitch in spacing when the work comes to QA. So that was probably the issue. Sorry I can't remember exactly what the situation is, but you didn't do anything wrong and the QA wasn't being snotty either.

Trust me, at least in my area, we have plenty of work. Also, we have no control over what work we QA. We can't go in and say "hmmm...I think I'll check SusieQ's work today." I know we're the enemy but we don't have that power.

Some of the accounts I work on do their own "site audit" and will mark you, the MT, as an error if you leave out a work, even a totally unimportant word such as "the." Again, it's not stuff we love to do. The more corrections I have to make the less I get paid and I'd much rather leave it alone but the hospital complains and we all get griped at.

Most likely it is the dictator that is on 100% QA. This happens a lot when they complain and I don't know that they always tell the MTs. I would hope they would inform you if you'd been on 100% QA for some reason.

And the others who replied to my message. This forum is our water cooler and the only way to feel not quite so isolated. I did hear back from our QATL and evidently I am not on 100% QA..so I don't know what the story is. The main thing though is that the QATL replied pronto and that really counts with me.

I got feedback on a report today, CRITICAL FEEDBACK. The doctor dictating was absolutely horrible, worse than horrible. I could not understand him, tried my hardest and before I uploaded it sent a note to QA asking for a sample of his work, explained that I could NOT UNDERSTAND HIM. I'm so happy! I got my audit, passed with flying colors and got an email from sup saying good work and keep it up! He also suggested that I submit for a raise since I've been consistent. I said I didn't know that we could, but apparently we can if we maintain that 98% average consistently for a certain amount of time. I started with MModal a month or so ago and I am noticing that MME feedback is not consistent. One will cross out dictation in the document that another will leave (like service or surgeon or primary doc). Also, "myself/himself/herself" should not be changed? Would appreciate feedback from anyone using M-Modal, especially Webmedx Enterprise MTs. Dreading the conversion and wondering if my fears are well founded. I'm pretty fast straight typing but rarely get more than 50 lines more an hour with current VR. Seems all it takes is just one lousy report to negate the lines made on the decent reports. Have a hospital where you are to phonetically spell name if not given (it wasn't except to call him "Steven") QA so kindly sent me QA feedback and the only thing on there was that apparently Steven was actually spelled "Stephun."
