Hiring again? Ad stated if necessary, need to provide 2-3 written references. How 'bout they do the same. Doubt if they could do that. IF the QA lady (the only one they have who is crazy anyway) can get her head out of the garbage can, she might contact you with bits and pieces of her so-called brain. The owner is just as bad. Beware of this company. It is a total waste of time. They scam your lines and lie about it. They scam your spaces and lie some more. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with them. I have never seen such a disoragnized mess of a company.

Is it again or still? I saw their ad on another job board and applied. They had called and left a message for me to call them, but I didn't after reading this and some other posts about them, thanks for the heads up. I never furnished any references and wasn't going to until specifically asked during the interview.

The owner called me spoke to me about the company gave me the rate of pay and asked me to test. The only "problem" that I saw was the fact that I have Windows 7 Home Premium, and he said that I needed the Professional version, but he did say that if I was hired, that he would pay to have that version installed and then take the cost out over several paychecks.

Year, he'll give you "his" version which has everything rigged like no spaces, etc.,"his espander" which is also rigged. I wouldn't believe everything he tells you if I were you, but do yourn own thing - you will see eventually.

Before he deducts anything for the version of Word that he gives you, go into Word and make sure the spacebar is working. Mine did not. The spacebar can be deactivated so that what wou type does not count spaces. I think that has something to do with not counting spaces toward what you will get paid.

I am scheduled to begin working for them soon. I have 42 years experience and after downsizing considerably and working for very small company, have decided I need just a little more work. I was impressed with the fact that he has an open door policy and that as the owner HE did the interviewing. You don't see that very often. They have been in business since 1988, so they must be doing something right. I have never seen their ad on MT Jobs ever. I guess we'll see what happens. Does anyone have anything GOOD to say about them?

I have applied at so many of these companies, taken and apparently passed the tests, filled out extensive interview forms, only to have them get back to me with "we don't have any part-time positions at this time". This is getting old and I am really getting frustrated. ...

I got an email from On-time transcription for an IC position, but I first have to do a lot of steps just to be considered and just before I test, which is so darn time consuming and odd. First, I have to read their website, download their software, read QA instructions and booklet, etc and then when I verify that I did all that, email them for the test---Geez, have anyone worked for them. Does anyone know where an MT can work very part-time and have American dictators - I am a retired MT - I quit because I was getting too many ESLs and lots of the good dictators were going to India - sometimes I miss it as retirement isn't for everyone but if I could just make my own hours and be very part-time I would consider it. I have never had this difficult a time researching a transcription company as this one. They are the great unknown. Even on this forum no-one knows anything about them. I used to work for 3-T and they lost accounts so we let go. Now have been in touch with them because they have obtained new accounts. Anyone else in this position? Hi, I recently spoke to someone from Turn Around Time Transcription. I had found their ad on mtjobs.com. Does anyone have any knowledge of this company? They use the Medrite XL platform and the owner told me all the transcriptionists said it was an easy platform to work on, but then I looked it up and MTs were complaining about the line counts being so low.
