Does it seem to you that more companies are hiring now than before. They all want 2nd or 3rd and - PAMT

are offering bonuses again. I would expect at some point with supply and demand a lot of MTs including me will either get out of the business or go PT or retire and there will be less people looking for jobs. Just a thought. As far as overseas with EMR they will not be getting the work either that they used to so it should be interesting to see where this all goes. It is already quite obvious to support a family you cannot do it very well with this job anymore. There is no doubt MQ is looking looking. I got an email from them to work for them which of course I wont.
Dont know why they hire 2nd and 3rd... wasnt that the - point in offshoring?

One of the big big company CEOs that send work overseas said jobs wont be coming back here with the low wages and those people actually sleeping where they work to be instantly available. I guess it is good the baby boomers are getting ready to retire so there is more work for other people but then of course boomers have lost so much money they will probably still be working to some degree forever and ever.

I started a job part time last week, doing 2 days a week and have been out of work 2 of the 4 days I was supposed to work and was told to flex my hours. I want to work a part time job to supplement my other part time job at Nuance because sometimes there is no work. I see an opening at TTS but when reviewing posts about TTS it sounds like a bad place to work with incompetent recruiters and managers. It seems 95% of the posts are bad regarding TTS. some part-timers anyway, why not offer weekends to part-timers and offer some Mon-Fri shifts for the experienced full-time MTs you're trying to get..... Is this just a scam so that employers don't have to pay benefits and employer taxes? I bet if there was an audit, most ICs and MTSOs would be in trouble for using that classification improperly, especially for the full-time positions.
