Has anyone ever worked for this company?

There is a post and a few comments below too. I worked there. You are warned. I read the bad posts about them, decided to try it for myself and figured these were just disgruntled people. Uh, no. Major hassle to make your lines, etc.

ROI is overstaffing their accounts. You will starve working for them.

on everyone's part? Don't forget that. They are cheating on line counts, when accounts going live, etc, treating ICs like employees....yes, exactly....employees.....they do not treat you as a subcontractor. I could go on and on. I think it's management responding positively to anything ROI. Obviously, I could be wrong about that, but I have my reasons for believing that......very touchy individual in management in particular who I know for a fact is on these boards!

from someone not in management. I truly apologize if you're not and that you're happy there, maybe should look at your line counts closely and ask questions. But really not the point of it all. Point is you were warned. End of this subject. Next!

Not only did "not in management" M10 decide not to address any of the issues about ROI, but deleted posts. Makes you wonder....WHY?! Maybe because the issues are legitimate and their practices cannot be defended?!

or explanation from poster above regarding any of the criticisms, posting to infer that if you have a good work ethic, it'll "work" for you too. People criticize that posters who are happy with their positions as having to obviously be management but, trust me, management is on this site. The only thing I was disgruntled about was that they were cheating! Buh-bye, so not staying in a situation like that.

I can sign on with them, but they're strictly BOS 3. I'm still in the dark ages with BOS 1. How much time am I going to spend with my head in the book? What things should I focus on (re)learning first? Also, what kind of paperwork do I need to take care of, line counts, billing? Do they take care of that? Is there ANY company out there that does NOT outsource ANY of their dictation? I usually don't mind ESL dictation except when it's ALL I get anymore. I work for a company that is being bought out by another company and right now, the only work I get or that is left to type, are the crappiest dictators out there. Typing difficult dictator...speed talker.... Sentance reads: MRI shows the tibial eminence fracture but the ACL appears to be intact. There is no apparent increased signal for intracepts inter rupture. "intracepts" is not making sense and I am not for certain that inter rupture is adquate...maybe I am just tired and my brain/ears are not functioning well...any help would be appreciated. ...
