Considering quitting Transcend w/o notice. I understand I will not be able to be rehired. In years past I quit MQ w/o working through my full 2 weeks too. (I know... BAD, BAD, BAD.)
I am concerned though that if I go to work for a smaller company and they are bought out by one of these 2 (which seems to be a high probability) I could be screwed.
In the field these days you have to have a FT job and try it out before you quit. Then you are trying to do both and getting tired and less effective.
I am past the point of being honest and upfront employee. Been jacked too many times with their pay cuts, etc.
When my MTSO bought out by Q, even tho who burned that - bridge earlier, were rehired with buyout. nm

I quit Transcend without notice even - ex transcend and glad of it

And should the company I'm now with sell out to them, I would quit. Like someone else pointed out, you can sell your company but I'm not for sale.

Let yourself off the guilty hook, then proceed with integrity for honorable reasons. Survival is an honorable reason.
Honestly I dont think it matters. We MTs are a dime a dozen to them - They probably wont even notice. Just saying. nm

I have done some Team Lead and Acct Management work too. I was working 3 VR Editor jobs (I also have an online jewelry boutique) to make ends meet. I lost one of the jobs last week and need to replace it...don't mind VR Editing but prefer working with MTs (in the US). I really enjoy the challenge of getting blanks...goofy, right? I am currently working two MT jobs and want to quit one of them. The company I want to quit expects a written 14-day notice, and that's perfectly logical.
