I just received my first *denial* of production bonus in over 20+ years with 98.75% QA score.
Every time I look at the payroll data and see...... BONUS: NO. I do a slow burn.
I'd like to know who made that judgment call that is going to affect my income for the next 3 months. I'd like to see my mistakes, and if they are legit medical mistakes then I will accept my *penalty*. I do not want to think my QA score hinges on whether or not someone is having a bad day, or if I have placed a comma somewhere the QA reviewer thinks is inappropriate.
I would at least appreciate the opportunity of re-review (before 3 month wait period) to be able to have that bonus initiative reinstated.
I took and passed the AHDI CMT exam in 2009, that qualifies me as being competent to make some judgment calls regarding sentence structure and correct medical language.
I'm also a consistently high producer. So take away my bonus incentive, and I lose the initiative to get to my desk and pump the work out.
I would like the Production Compensation Team/Committee to realize that the salary THEY make is tightly woven together with the salaries WE make, and stop cutting away at the MTs pay. Cut your corporate corners from some other department.
Thanks, I'm feeling MUCH better now.
