Not a bad company, but my experience was a bad one - NCMT

It was a part time job for me. I had two part time jobs at the time, and one became full time, and I gave them notice, they got really nasty, even though I offered to continue to work for them some until they found someone to replace me (1 day out of 2 a week). I quickly rescinded my offer when they got nasty. I felt my offer was generous to work for them until they could find someone else! It was their loss! I couldn't believe how nasty they got so quickly. Also, I worked 3rd shift and there was not always work, and I had to check for work every 10-15 minutes! Imagine staying awake all night and typing 20 reports! It was exhausting!

Oh, but one good thing about them is they pay by the minute! And overnight pays well! No benefits was another con for me. I needed benefits, but to be honest, I asked them if they needed me full time, and they did not. They paid so well I could have bought my own insurance. My other PT job did have a FT opening, and offered benefits, so I went with them. They also offer you the option of renting or buying a computer set up (minus a monitor).

Good luck! I know my post is long and kinda wishy-washy, but on a scale of 1 to 10, I give Peachtree a 5. Hope this helps some. You're experience may be better than mine was. I hope it is, if you decide to take the job offer.

Not sure if it was just a weekend or overnight thing, but they guarantee you 60 minutes a night.

Thinking back on it, in the end I was just usually just getting the guaranteed 60 minutes, and that probably wouldn't have bought me any benefits, even 5 days a week. Glad I left. Again, good luck!

I use to work for Keystrokes before and was very unsatisfied. Good Luck if you do work for them! My current CCM is one of the best of the many I've had. I had previously worked with her on this account from1999 until we were sold to MQ in 2005; she is my 6th or 7th CCM here at MedQuist. She is very familiar with our hospital, very friendly, easy to communicate with, quick to answer emails, and always keeps us up to date. So what is there to know about OSI before I make a life-changing decision? Minimum line count for FT? Approximate cpl for a "very experienced" MT, for straight typing; cpl for VR?
