Everyone comes here for information on companies but rarely does anyone come back and let us know how the interview went or if they were hired. I am always wondering did anyone hire on with so-and-so?

I heard it isnt really the best account - so maybe it wasnt a good situation. nm

I have almost 40 years of experience, but I wonder sometimes if that hurts me instead of helps. A weekend position would have been perfect for me, but I guess I can keep looking.

Games they play just to see how many applicants they can gather as they control the job market now since the hospitals have all let MTs go.

Good morning - Hope you all had a Happy Easter! You are correct - I haven't had a chance to respond to a large number of the resumes that came in. I received over 200 of them. That takes a long time to go through.

Age never takes you out of the running. I would say that 75% of the people working here are in your age group.

If those of you posting here didn't receive a response, how did you hear it wasn't a good account? It is an excellent account, steady work, pays well and that is why I take time and care in finding a positive fit for our company.

Hopeful and Disheartened - please resubmit your resumes with your username in the subject. One of the reasons I have not been able to go through all of the resumes is due to new accounts starting this week.

I tested with both and know I did well (lots of experience with this stuff) but have heard nothing back from Probity and got a letter of interest from Encompass, which I responded to, then NADA. Has anyone actually been able to move forward recently with getting a job at either place?! I applied for a hospital job (non-MT) about 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing yet. I am just wondering how long I should wait to hear back. This is not the only job I applied to, sending out resumes, but this is the one I wanted. The job is still posted on their website, so presumably not filled yet. I have been doing MT for almost 15 years, and the one company I have been with for the past 9 years is suddenly getting less and less work. I have been sending out resumes, taking the tests, etc., and I don't hear ONE THING BACK from any of them . . . . so frustrating. I went to their website where I tried to follow directions. They make it impossible. They ("Now Transcription") want you to fill out an application through "Accord Human Resources", then save it and email it to them along with your resume. I was sent a link to test for this company and was absolutely floored!
