Although the work has picked up at Webmedx, where are the 2 HUGE accounts that were supposed to go on-line in January? Does anyone know?

I know that there are no new accounts with my STM, and looking at the listing on community board, I don't see any new, but am not sure! But, I am grateful the work has picked up and am keeping my fingers crossed! Not sure if it has picked up because a lot of people quit? Anyone else have any other info?

Starts with an S. We were told this new account had been sold the brand new self-editing speech recognition software, and that we could receive either straight typing, editing, or a combo of both. Guess what - we received absolutely nothing - not even enough to train on. Obviously there's no point in getting excited by new accounts unless you're a suit - absolutely no revenue from it is coming to any MT. So from now on when they brag about new HUGE accounts - they probably mean huge profits for THEM, not US - they have successfully cut us right out of the food chain.

I am sick to death of being bounced all over the place! I would love to force the QA lead and CCM to swich every 10 minutes as well... Recently I was told the account I've been on for the past decade is going to voice recognition. Having worked on a VR platform briefly, I know I don't want to get screwed making half the money with longer hours. I'm wondering which specialties would be the best ones to target - i.e., more likely to outsource their transcription to an individual transcriptionist, least likely to have EMR or EPIC. The worst thing to me is when you get a few jobs in a row and try to build up some momentum, then OOW again!
