Does anyone know what platform they use? Their ad says you need a 15 pin pedal. Isn't that a bit old school?
EXText uses this - buy a USB adaptor

Lofin/Intellitype Tech Issues Dec 14, 2010I see this company has an ad after a long time of not being around. That, of couse, would be because they lost a huge account, as well as a couple of other accounts last summer. Then they claimed there would be a new account ready by Oct. 1st. That did not materialize. Last I knew, many MTs took a hike. Many reasons not to work for this company. Check the archives. Biggest problem was lack of work, especially weekends. They were also well known for having the rude habit of cont ...

Intellitype Apr 06, 2010Whenever I have looked for a new job in the past, I have always had several offers a day or two after I started looking. Now, I spend hours testing only to get offers of 3 cpl for VR and 6 cpl for standard transcription. I have survived as a single parent all of these years, having a good career as an MT, and I haven't been able to pay bills for the last year. Everyone is frustrated with the industry. It is not the economy - it is the huge outsourcing that has d ...

Lofin Transcription. Any Opinions? Feb 28, 2012I don't see much in the archives within the last year on them. I know someone who just started with them and really likes it. Set her own schedule, says the ExText platform is easy, is off QA already, and says they leave you alone to work. Sounds great, but I guess I would like to know if that's the norm. ...

DQS Platform Nov 02, 2010Needing a general consensus on whether or not you like the DQS platform...what about it's ASR generated reports.
I personally like the platform and think the ASR reports aren't as bad as some platforms I have been on...I just hate the rate of ASR pay. Though it is estimated the production increases with ASR, for most, that simply is not the case and, per a study I found online, quite the opposite. Please see results from that independent study below.

Which Is The Best Platform For EMR For IC/MTs? Aug 29, 2012In your experience, which platform would you recommend an IC/MT suggest a physician's office utilize? This would be probably for four docs per office or less and one to four MTs. I am hoping to "sell" some local private doctor offices with this form of EMR so it may save my current small job and also allow me to obtain more work.
