Is SoftScript Still Slow ? - caninemom3

Hello everyone

It is always of interest to me what is going on with SoftScript. One of my friends is still there and I haven't been able to get hold of her. Does anyone know if they are still slow. When I worked there it was extremely slow. Now I have a job where I never run out of work.

It was slow around the 4th (as was everyone). It picked up the end of last week. I have exceeded my typical line count every pay period since the beginning of June (including the weekend of the 4th).

I have worked there for 2+ years and the slow times don't seem to last too long, at least on the accounts I am on. If I do run out of work, they just add another account to my pool.

Not for me it isn't, always have more than enough work. Been there since last Fall and can count on 1 hand how many times I have been without work.

Is the line rate fair? Straight typing?

I think all SoftScript does is straight typing. I am pretty sure there is no VR at all. They have what they call editors but they are essentially QA.

Line rate is typical of any national. Work is pretty steady and the platform is super easy.

I like them though and have spent 3 happy years working for them.

I do like it and the line rate is fair, pay always on time if not early. Communication often leaves a lot to be desired, not very timely, but they leave you alone.

I would still like to hear from more of you about whether or not you have problems with DQS being slow. Today was one of the worst days I have ever had. Anybody else sick of DQS sometimes taking forever to download a job and then being told that it is either our computer's fault or our internet connection?? My internet and computer has not changed since this started happening. However, it did start when they updated DQS, but, of course, that can't be the reason! ...

Every site having to do with MQ is as slow as molasses. Other Internet sites whiz along. Trying to check MQ E-mail, clock in, etc. is always a draaaaaaaaggggg. Is it their equipment or poor IT I wonder? Either way, once again makes you wonder about their accuracy on any of our numbers. Hi all, I am a new transcriptionist. I have a job with a very small company that's doing transcription for a group of hospitals in Florida. The lady who hired me is so nice. She is training me and I am producing a quality product, but I am so slow! Does anyone else have this problem? I can type a few words or a lengthy sentence, but the cursor is super slow and lags behind. Not only that, but the audio will just keep going until the cursor finishes "typing" what I did and will not respond to the foot pedal. I have told myself I would keep some kind of a diary recording the volume of work for different times of the year, yet have never actually done this. It seems as though work is unusually slow for the past couple of weeks, with only the odd busy time (usually at nights of course, when I start in the mornings). Hospital I work for just went from Dictaphone to Chartscript. My DSL (Frontier) is old and slow. When too many people are using the DSL, the speed slows WAY down and the jobs don't save. Fluency even slower in late afternoon. Now, I wait for ADT to pull in to accept a visit, but I can use Google within the platform with no issues. Now, I see it even adding to my inactive time. I know it is Fluency because all other electronics work fine. I logged off, clocked out, did a reboot, and could not log back in because it said either cannot connect to server or another user at a different location using same.
