IMEDX question about lost TT accounts - what happened

I am a TTMT but not on the lost accounts.  I am curious ... are these the 2 accounts that suddenly went to EPIC or are these 2 other accounts?  What was the reason given by Imedx for the loss of the accounts?

Funny how the company we work for can't answer these questions or keep the people whom they depend on to do the work informed. Secrets of the round table, I guess. That's why they check this board. Trust! Percentage that people lie is so on the rise.

These are 2 accounts other than the ones that are supposed to have gone to EPIC.

So what reason did they give - Curious MT

Did they send out an e-mail to the MTs? What did it say? Did it give any explanation as to what happened to the account? Overseas? Client went with another vendor? Any explanation at all? I'm not trying to be nosy ... just want to know what is going on with the disaster of a company I work for. I'm certainly not going to get any info if I ask them.

The manager included it in the morning email. No explanation was given, just that we would no longer be covering those accounts as of yesterday. It seems we never get any info until after the fact, and we never get an explanation as to why. I would like to know more too, but unfortunately the only ones communicating with us at all are the TT managers, absolutely nothing from Imedx.

They'll appeal your unemployment claim. They did with mine. But, you can prevail. When there is not enough work for employees in most other businesses they get "laid off." And easily go on to receive unemployment assistance.

Somehow in the MT business that's not the case. In the employers eyes, we are too slow, lazy, or unmotivated to make a decent wage. Or maybe, they see our predicament for what is, but just don't give a s**t.

Anyway, best of luck to you if you decide to pursue this.

The reason given on one of the accts - was that the client was going another direction

That was the MCCG account. That could mean that iMedX has shipped the work overseas or that MCCG has decided they don't want to go the iMedX route and has gone with a different company. Or it could be some other reason. But that's all that was conveyed... they are changing "the direction of their transcription" and no longer "require our services."

I had heard last week that WM was gone, but I still see updates with their name included in the subject line, but no actual update in the email body.

As far as I can tell, we still have access to both. - but work dwindling.

I used to work for 3-T and they lost accounts so we let go.  Now have been in touch with them because they have obtained new accounts.  Anyone else in this position?  I think I would like to work for them again but reading the recent posts about the company causes me concern.  The glitch now is about the computer.  I can use my own if I upgrade or buy one from company.  Not sure what to do here and now I feel like I am getting a bit of a runaround on the subject.  My initial excitement is ...

We were told it went to a competitor and that the client just decided to move in a different direction.  Can anyone verify this to be truth?  Or did it really go to India and we are just being told it went to a competitor.  Also, does anyone know how many MTs are going to have to be dispersed amongst other primary accounts? ...

After 14 years of transcribing for a medical practice, suddenly, without notice, I was "dumped."  My client implimented the required EHR mandated by President Obama.  I guess I was somewhat naive in not seeing this coming, but I assumed transcribed documents by a "real person" would still be wanted by my client.  Now I find myself at age 57 without work.  My next step is to inquire about verbatim transcription, but the idea of not correcting improper grammar and using "yeah" ...
