IMEDX Do you think they really want a 2-week notice - disgusted MT

Posted: Feb 11, 2015

Are you guys giving a notice? I really would prefer to leave faster than that. Not enough work to go around anyway. My accounts have not been lost but are super slow I imagine due to added MRs who have recently been added.

I am not giving any - notice...

Starting my new job next week, and this is one bridge I won't have any problem burning behind me!

I didn't give notice, just replied....sm - dusty

[ In Reply To ..]
to an email with my official notice, and DG sent me an email asking official reason to put in their records. Within minutes, I was locked out of system.

The time it was TransTech was great, but dang, after the merger, it went downhill. Two years down the drain - thanks, IMedX and Epic! Buh-bye, and on to better things (crossing fingers and saying prayers).

giving notice - gonesoon

Good luck, you 2! I envy you.

When I gave notice I never received a reply - Worked there for 10 years!

Still have never heard a thing from my direct supervisor, who I thought I had a decent enough working relationship, nor DH or anyone else. Had to tell the poor supervisor who called me on the weekend (2 weeks later!) to offer me bonus!

I also didn't give them 2 weeks, just said effective immediately since I was going to start my new job the following week.

I really feel for you guys, this whole mess is just horrible.
I really have to wonder if the TT higher ups (sm) - 10 years myself
[ In Reply To ..]
are just as disgusted with this mess as we are. I know at least one of them is; she has to be. They promised us for years this would never happen, and then it was out of control and it did. What would they say to us? Don't forget, they would have to communicate with us on Imedx email, and there goes any privacy. They can't tell us how they really feel. They are probably trying to hang on till the TT ship goes down themselves. I feel sorry for them too. I hope Lady Karma gets the 2 owners (the man and the woman) though we haven't heard much about the man in awhile. He may be long gone.
Supervisor - me
[ In Reply To ..]
My supervisor also misses TT. They don't get much more info than we do.
I wonder if this is the way IMEDX treats all their (sm) - TTer again
[ In Reply To ..]
employees, or is it just us as the pain in the butt stepchildren that they don't need or want?
I wonder how they treat their clients - TTer hoping to be ex-Imedxer soon
[ In Reply To ..]
We all know they treat their US employees like crap. It may be a totally different picture in India as those are the employees they care about keeping.

Imedx seems to be incredibly disorganized, unless it is all a ruse to discourage the US employees so they will leave. If they approach their clients with even a fraction of the disorganization they portray with their employees, I am suprised they have been able to maintain any clients at all. I just don't understand how Imedx has even survived in the business world.

Just waiting on a phone call and I too will soon have Imedx in my rearview mirror and will never look back.
They have Americans to do all their communicating - with the clients
[ In Reply To ..]
That's how they get away with their abysmal treatment of the stateside employees... they have their American minions do the dirty work and I'm quite sure those same Americans are the ones who communicate directly with the client.

Do not give your notice. - They will tell you to leave right then

I've been through this before. If there's no work, there's been a buyout, and people are scrambling to get even 4 hours in a day... they don't give a rats ass if you stay for another 2 weeks or not.

The only reason you need to give a notice to the jerkoffs at imed is if you plan on collecting any accrued PTO. With all the changes in their PTO payouts now and with them forcing all of us to USE all of our PTO in December... I doubt anyone has more than about a day or two of PTO accrued at this early stage in the year anyway. I only have about 15 hours minus a sick day I used, so I'm definitely using 14 of those hours BEFORE I quit next week.

I say, write your exit letter, make it as descriptive and vile as you can, and then email it to absolutely everyone in the company whose address you can find, including Anil and Sankar. I'm never going to use this job as a reference anyway. I finally got a job out of this business.

Word of advice - to all those leaving iMedX...

[ In Reply To ..]
Copy any and everything from the email system that you need PRIOR to quitting.

Make sure you download any and everything you need from ExponentHR like your pay stubs... before leaving. That final paycheck might be a problem, unless they put it in the mail and don't direct deposit it - but still, you would only have to add on those totals from your final paycheck to get your YTD totals for next year's taxes.

Finally, make note of iMedX's Federal EIN that appears on the W2s you just got. Write it down in a safe place. You will need that next year too when you file taxes for the time you worked this year. That way - you don't have to wait on anything from iMedX to file next year.

Take my advice...I've been down this road before and shut out of emails and the payroll company the INSTANT I quit or was let go, leaving me with no recourse when I tried to file unemployment (you need emails to prove what's been going on) or when I needed to know the total amount of income I had made, like when I applied for a home loan. Better safe than sorry - so before you send that vitriol-laden exit email - make sure you have your ducks in a row first. They will shut you out immediately. They don't care about you or your family.

2 Week Notice?
May 30, 2012

For those who have left MM, did you give 2 weeks notice and were you able to finish out your 2 weeks? I have another job offer I can't refuse and I don't even know who I turn in a 2 week notice too, and I'm nervous about being able to finish out the 2 weeks, or do they just let you go right then?  Any experience on this would be of great help. ...

IMEDX Gives 10 Day Notice On Big Hospital Account
Feb 15, 2015

A 10 day notice has been given on a longstanding hospital account. Employees on this account will be moved to other accounts (September 30, 2013). Remember the goold old days when we were notified 10 days before losing an account? Don't you think it's odd Imedx does not do this anymore? Multiple accounts go down last month and not a peep, just locked out? ...

Giving 2-week Notice?
Oct 14, 2014

Is Nuance still in the habit of cutting you off right away if you wish to give notice of leaving? I am nervous about taking the leap back into IC but need the flexibility, but what if it doesn't work out....what to do, what to do? I start training this week and want to give 2 weeks notice, just for the fact that I want to keep working around the same time of day that I am scheduled at Nuance - and goodness knows we can't work outside of our schedule  - so can't do both at th ...

After You Give 2-week Notice...
Oct 31, 2014

...it is so gloriously hard to give a hoot!!  I used to work QA for M*Modal and whenever someone gave notice, we put them on 100% review.  I never understood that as well as I do now.  I am definitely not being quite as careful as I usually am.  I also am not stressing about my production numbers each day.  I wander around on Facebook, Amazon, and give in to the distractions I used to fight against.  Why not? What are they gonna do? Fire me???? I'd actually be ...

Question On Handing In 2 Week Notice
Jul 14, 2011

Okay, I need to turn in notice and am wondering just who do you give it to? (WMX) Account manager? Someone in HR? By phone or e-mail? Never had to do this working at home and am kind of wondering about the etiquette for this. :) I'm going to search through the employee handbook, but since others have left recently, thought I'd find it quicker here. Thanks! ...

I am working 2 jobs right now. I am making a lot more with my second job and would like to just be able to concentrate on that one but the problem is that it is an IC position. Imedx And Moderator At MT Stars, Plz Ignore All Employees/posters Of Imedx
Feb 03, 2015

Moderator, please delete everything on your site that refers to Imedx, even this post of mine, it is only the right thing to do. I prefer to be angry and have no where to vent. Last week we were told by Op Mgr that "she has a call into the client about why volume is so low." Yesterday, we got a "yippee" from "her" about having a coupla hundred jobs ready. This morning, we got an email saying, "we need to make sure you have backup accounts now." I wont address the timesheet issue, I am still ...

If It Looks Like IMEDX, Talks Like IMEDX, It Is IMEDX
Feb 28, 2015

No one on this board seems to give specifics when they get canned from IMEDX. So my question is this: Can each person who got laid off/fired let us know more details. Were you PT or full time, did they call or did they email, did you have options, or just firing. How many lines did you do per day. Some of us may not be in your situation and you may have been just an employee that was not worth IMEDX's time and they got rid of you while they may keep all the others, or full timers. Details p ...

At 99.4% This Week, Congratulated That I Improved Over Last Week.

Good grief. I did not change the way I edit. It so depends on how many commas they think you should have. Yes, I made an unusual (for me) mistake last week, but the rest of passing an audit is dumb luck of whether you get a realistic auditor or Ms English wannabe. Everybody must be under pressure because of the cesspool as I see a lot of mistakes when I look up past reports to help with these mush mouths and accents. The time czar wants schedule changes, but I see no problems with turna ...
