DataScript - Has anyone else NOT gotten paid? - Not a Happy Camper

It's bad enough that we are now only getting paid once a month. I was fully expecting for checks to go out last Friday for pay period 01/15 throuugh 02/15. It's now a week later and still no check. Mind you I live cross coutry from Michigan but I think a week is MORE THAN enough time. Now I'm getting no small amount worried aside from it placing me in a HUGE financial bind now.

Am I the only one? Have others gotten their checks?

However, she sent out a big rant about people posting here and how it was unprofessional and disrespectful, etc. To me, it seems like consistingly not paying your employees on time and not answering their phone calls or emails is pretty darned unprofessional and disrespectful too!

Anyway, I hope you get your money soon. Tough to count on something and then have it not be there. You did the work. You should be paid. :( Did you ask them about it? If they are still communicating with you, maybe there is hope you will get it soon.

Sent one 2 days ago and thus far crickets. Waited until today's mail came and when there was no check, I sent another one. Let's see where that get's me...

some kind of small claims or going through the moderator here at MT Stars. I don't understand them -- they want the work done on a timely basis, but they think they can just pay you whenever. Good luck.

I used to work there a few years ago and she burned me for $3,500 for a month's wage. Read what I wrote on here.

I worked for Audrey David for a year and never got paid on time. I think I received a check every 3-4 months if I was lucky. She would tell me the check was on the way and a month later I was asking again where it was. She said they were going to start paying twice a month and that never happened either. I left and she never paid me for the last 2 months that I worked for her.

and then apparently went back to once a month during my break. What really BUGS me is that they wait a month before they pay you. I'm assuming that they are literally waiting for THEIR payment. No matter what...not cool...I'm looking for sure.

I've been working with my company for almost a year now and i'm wondering if I should start looking around at other compaines. I graduated from M-Tec last summer and got a job about a month later, they started me at 0.055 cpl, then in December bumped me up to 0.06 cpl. . . . we have to retype the entire VR job because it is 99% WRONG. It seems like it is getting worse instead of better. The last week practically every job has every fifth word right but the rest is wrong. At some point it quits being voice recognition and is pure transcription. There is a company who is advertising openings. I went to their website and they are offering the clients VBC at 15 cpl and comparing it to other companies who pay 65 cpl with spaces at 12 cpl. I am wondering what they are paying their employees. I won't name the company, because I may apply to them.
