DTS (digital transcription services) - how their insurance is - curious on how it is

I know they did some advertising a while back and wanted to get some fresh perspective on them. I did search the archives and did not find much that current. Anybody recently been hired by them and how is it. I am curious as to how their insurance is.

Their platform is awful, a ton of screens to go through - see message

Whoever designed the platform must have throught the more complicated and the more screens to go through made him look like wizard. You have to look through all the doctors and pick out their normals and templates.

I lasted less than a week. Not much work available either. I also spoke to someone who had been there 6 or 7 months and she was not able to get enough count for the insurance. For months afterward, I kept getting e-mails as to why I wasn't on.

I'm leaving because no medical transcription job is a good one any more, but that's not DTS' fault.

When I worked there, at first there was a ton of work...then it dwindled down until it was NJA almost all the time. Too many dictators and horrible platform.

They have more then 1 platform it just depends on what account you are put on.. They have Speechmotion, MedriteXL and Winscribe.

Hi, I need some advice. I run a small transcription business (me, myself and I) and my doctors are still using casettes (I know, they are die-hards). I am trying to switch over to digital and need some advice as to the best equipment to use. I only have about five doctors so I don't want' to go into too much expense. Does anybody know of a good software program or system where the doctor can dictate into a digital recorder from his office, upload it to my computer and that I could transcribe using a footpedal (that I already have) and then upload it and send it back to the doctor?
