Digital Transcription Systems? anything? - ?

Anyone know about this company? I saw they are hiring (on Indeed). It looks like a good company but that doesn't mean anything.

I did until the account went to EMR and they let me go instead of placing me elsewhere. It was good as far as pay and such. Management borderline ok. Not sure now though as has been a year ago.

I didn't find any post for them. What are they offering?

I would be very surprised if DTS Oklahoma is hiring...I believe they were eaten by Nuance...maybe it was M-Modal...not that it matters since both suck...but they were in fact eaten by someone.

MTSO's always make their companies sound like heaven on earth where you will be treated with respect and highly valued. I didn't experience that at all there. Once I started making decent money, the acct was lost and I was let go, not moved to a different account....

They were good, except for QA. Different rules. - anon

That was about a year ago though. Owner was very nice. Unfortunately maybe they were on the brink of merging..don't know. Never know, but it could have been timing. The QA people all gave different rules, then the hospital would send it back with their own rules. Your "supervisor" did not want to be bothered...so word of warning, then maybe things have gotten better. Things change.

Hi, I need some advice. I run a small transcription business (me, myself and I) and my doctors are still using casettes (I know, they are die-hards). I am trying to switch over to digital and need some advice as to the best equipment to use. I only have about five doctors so I don't want' to go into too much expense. Does anybody know of a good software program or system where the doctor can dictate into a digital recorder from his office, upload it to my computer and that I could transcribe using a footpedal (that I already have) and then upload it and send it back to the doctor? I have a physician that wants to swith to digital recorder so that he can download the dictations onto the computer and send them to me (via e-mail I'm assuming) then I will type them in Word and e-mail them back to him. I've used Express Scribe before to listen to reports using foot pedal too and typing them in Word.
