Command Health - interview with them today for an SR Oncology account - interview

I have an interview with them today for an SR Oncology account. Can anyone tell me how their SR platform is?

I work for CH but do not work on an oncology account. I do SR on an orthopedic account and it is not too bad. Not sure what the platform is called, but it works okay. The people who train you on this are nice and patient. They will answer your questions, your emails, an even return your phone calls. It is just like with anything new, take your time and ask questions,etc. I have worked for this company for 5 years and have been happy. The one thing I can tell you is this, if you are not happy with the account you are assigned to start and after giving it the old college try, you can ask to be switched to a different account. Start by asking your manager, and if she does not have anything you can email HR. They want you to be happy and will work with you to find the right fit. Good luck on your interview. This company, in my opinion is a good one, of course it has its faults, but not as many as others.

does it take for them to get you started? If I accept a position with them, I was wondering how long it would take for them to get me going (trying to figure how long of a notice to give to my present employer), as two previous companies I worked for in the past kept me to a minimum of 3 files a day before letting me off full QA.

Not sure how long it will take for them to get you all set up. If you accept the position they will probably ask how soon can you start. My advice is to say right away and then they will start the process. Depending on your account and how well you do, you probably will only by on QA for a day or two and they do not limit how many dictations you do in a day. They may ask you to do only 5 at a time and then wait for QA feedback, and then do 5 more, etc. The feedback is usually very prompt.

Like I've said in previous reviews/posts about this company, if it's the cardiology account, you were warned. They have other accounts and Transform accounts, but if its' the cardiology account, you will not make any money. MOST, like 98%, of all jobs are very short and if you use free Express Scribe, which they have and will download on your computer, the quality if bad and hard to hear the docs clearly. Is there enough work to meet production requirements in order to keep benefits? How much flexing is required in order to meet production on a daily/per pay period basis? Anyone else take their test and were surprised that you didn't pass? I took it yesterday. I have 5 yrs of experience and even used my AAMT and Stedman's books (like they said I could) to verify spellings. I also found it odd that you couldn't use Google Chrome or any IE newer than 7 - so I had to download and use Firefox to take the test. ...

I have a friend that worked at MD-IT prior to the Command Health buyout. She is still with the MD-IT division (or whatever they call it now), is employee status but is able to work whenever she wants as long as she meets line requirement and doesn't go over 40 hours a week. Is this the way it is across the board for Command Health? I thought I needed an IC job for flexibility, but if I could have that flexibility as an employee that would be great.
