Race to the finish! Good one. KS will never sell out, but as for helping the MTs find another account - not likely. That girl in HR is a real piece of work,and she could care less if you have work or not. If you want a good laugh, check her out on LinkedIn. She couldn't spell to save her soul. Good thing she does the hiring and not the transcription.

Yep, it's gone for sure! Went to Dragon supposedly. Can't imagine KS selling out, but who knows ~ Wouldn't think so but stranger things have happened.

I said I knew about the oncology account, never did I mention anything about knowing whether KS would sell out or not! You're reading stuff into this that was never mentioned ~ We were only talking about accounts, not financial matters and selling or not selling!

I agree with you all! There is no rhyme or reason behind what those 2 nut jobs will do, but not having work is pretty common over there I hear. I left a while ago for that reason. It is bad enough to not have work, but it is even worse when you don't and no one cares.

What was once one of the best companies is now right down there with the worst. I can't see them selling anytime soon, though. Too many bloated egos to support. And that is tres expensive, mon chers.

I do acute care, too, and I was already put on the new account that is starting next week. I am looking forward to the variety. I know that a few others on the account have been given different accounts, too. I used to work for the clinic, and still know a lot of people there. Yes, it is going to Dragon. The doctors are being forced to do it, and they are having fits about it, but the $ people at the top don't care.

I agree about JD. She is not the smartest person I have ever talked to, and she is very full of herself.

I really hope they don't sell, and I also think they are in the fight to the end. I think that have a better chance than MM at this point.

I do know that they have a few new accounts starting, big ones, because I had a few choices.

I used to work there, and like the other person from yesterday, still am in contact with many people there. My brother-in-law is one the physicians there and is very unhappy with the decision. He says that they are going by location, all in one month, and that they do not have a choice.

Why do people post lies on here? How does that help anyone?

I like working at KS and while I don't think they are a perfect company, I think they are better than most of the other choices out there. While at KS, I have seen many, many MT's leave and come back.

They had me on another account the day after the announcement, even though I am finishing out this one first. No complaints on volume, either. I have had FT work and no issues with that.

This is only one small account for them; why is there such controversy over it?

Well it may be a small account for them, but some(most) of the MTs on it only have one account and already cannot work on it. They have already been shoved aside with no new account in sight. Well of course KS won't say that the client went to another company - they have to use the Dragon thing to save face.

No no - I have no inside knowledge on the facility or any assumptions. I know an MT on the account who is currently jobless because it left and was not offered another acocunt. And as far as a company NOT telling employees they were transferred to another service versus Dragon, I mean come on - that would be common sense. I wouldn't want to say we lost the account for a different reason than Dragon. Nobody would. So if you want me to dial it down to just fact, I will - and the only fact I have is that I know one MT on there who is out of a job and did not get offered a replacement account.

I worked on this account for the previous service and cannot imagine the work being done with voice rec. Our hospital does not accept abbreviations for oncology medications. So, for R-CHOP we have to type - R = Rituximab C = Cyclophosphamide H = Doxorubicin Hydrochloride (Hydroxydaunomycin) O = Vincristine Sulfate (Oncovin) P = Prednisone Not in a format like that, but I didn't want to type them all out. We would have to type those five drugs out. Is this the standard for anyone else? ...
