Anyone have info on Midwest Transcription Service? sm - MT123

I received an email from Sheila and Mesheal from Midwest Transcription Service. I just want to make sure they are legit. I am not sure if they are in WI because I looked them up, and I think that company has a different owner. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Just based on their Facebook page and website, I don't see anything out of the ordinary. I'd go ahead and reply to the email and ask your questions there. Let us know what you hear.

Vickie Entzminger - I've worked for her before. She has a facebook page, too. Maybe she isn't hands-on anymore or sold it.

When you google the name "Mesheal" and "medical transcription," the only thing that comes up is an Elance account.

Yes. I am being very cautious. No link given, just an email with their names using a Gmail account. Signature line reads "Midwest Transcription Service," but the owner's name that I found in prior posts here is different so it threw a red flag for me. Maybe they are recruiters or account managers, I don't know.

I spoke with the ladies on the phone, and I believe the company is legit. It is somewhat of a small company. It doesn't sound like the same company in WI though unless she sold it, but I didn't ask.
