Beware . . . Watch out for this company!!!  They do nothing but move employees around continously and train them on new accounts so there isn't any room for advancement or the ability to excel on a specific account.  Lastly, they have US MTs get all the 'bugs' out on an account and then move the account off shore and lay off their US MTs.  There is a lack of communication and lack of professional management throughout the entire company.  Just a heads up to anyone looking to work for Acusis!

business to move people around so much they don't get to make very good production or the client doesn't get to have MTs that are used to their dictation. I can say about MM that I have been on the same 2 accounts for 8 years. It has changed platforms, which makes it aggravating sometimes, but that is about it. Some business practices just don't make sense, do they?

Completely agree. As a recent ex-employee of this company I will say it is complete chaos, US MTs are not treated well and it's way more stress than anyone deserves.

To all the Acusis MTs out there that were recently laid off... THERE is something BETTER out there for you! Good luck to you and consider this a blessing in disguise. Best of luck to you

Send the good accounts offshore (and ultimately lose them), raise the accuracy expections on MTs, while at the same time cracking that whip and raising the line count minimum, so we'll all have to type/edit even faster than we already do.

Added input... the way they handle accounts and treat their MTs, it almost seems like a scam.... of sorts...

They bought out the best transcription company in 2006, DRC. was the best company owner and their people were so happy. I am so sorry that they sold out to a transcription company that did not treat them like humans. I wish for the old DRC back!!!

they achieved that without grinding their MTs, along with their incomes, into the dirt. DRC proved that it IS possible to be an honest, ethical company that treats its workers well, and can still turn a profit.

When you've been with them for several years & - your pay is 1/3 of what it was - SM

originally, there is something very very wrong with this company. They place no value whatsoever on their more experienced MTs. It's like they want them all to just leave. Or die.

I just failed another audit.  No indications I was even being audited, no % showing up in my feedback like usual.  I thought it was so weird because I have been extra extra careful.  So I go to actually look at the work I typed instead of just the info that is sent to me.  My last audit was done on 5/24 all reports were typed that day and audited that day.  My audit this week was work from 5/23 and 5/24.  They didn't even audit my current work! ...

Just recently our QC sent out an email to an MT in our group for a HIPAA error and blind copied all the MT/MME in the BOB.  This poor MT would never have known unless others came forward and reported that they got this email in error. Make sure that if you get an email it is only coming to you.  I really hope she files a complaint with HR for shaming her in front of her peers.  Don't look, don't share apparently does not apply to anyone other than MT/MME. ...

an email recently for a "concerned" MLS - never, ever had that happen on this board until the posts went up about the DOJ, DOL and all the bogus "errors" the QCs are hitting us for.  Check out the posts saying "what do you mean bogus errors - can you be specific; I don't get it; what errors?"  What MLS working for Nuance does not understand what a "bogus error" by Indian QC is?  Work for Nuance for a nanosecond, and you know immediately  they dump on the MLS� ...

I have seen some posts where people want to know about Acusis. I will tell you what I know and about my recent experience with them.
