It should pay more than 8 cpl. There are probably multiple mumbling speakers on Zoom and cell phones. I have done insurance transcription and medical meetings in the past; they are a nightmare. Guidelines are probably a lot of including huh, uh, uhm, etc., and nevermind the quotes, plus entering each speaker's name as they chime in. Trust me, if she's on here demanding this and that, and as soon as an MT job shows up on Indeed, there are over 1000 applicants, than she is desperate. I would name your price, since it's probably IC anyway.
It's really time we turn the tables on these companies and stop making them money for our blood, sweat and tears.
Tell her you'll do it for 11 cpl and see what she says. If the pay was lucrative, she would not be here posting for it.
