Not every coding registry job requires a CTR and I realize that the jobs are different. However, if you code and want a different career path, you could probably make the transition, some people have. Many medical coders abstract and don’t just assign codes. I know that TR is not a coding job only, I was using it as an example of a job someone could do if they had a coding background.
