What they don't like is adults bragging - anon

If we were in high school, this would be the sort of student who was always bragging about all the presents they got at Christmas or on their birthday. Or they would be bragging about the wonderful summer vacation they had because they're family has so much money.

It's one thing to say something on the lines of "they found coding to be profitable for them," but to go on about how much money they made or how they'll have everything paid off is bragging. And any adult would realize that.

Not everyone has the money or the opportunity to train for something else. They may be a single parent or supporting elderly parents or have a debilitating illness.
