Coding / Medical Billing

It's possible - SM

My best friend (who was previously an MT) completed the AAPC coding course last year. Within about a month of passing the exam, she landed a job as an outpatient coder with one of our local hospitals as a newly certified coder with zero experience. She had to train on site for about a week, but has been working remotely from home ever since. I, myself, am just finishing up the AAPC inpatient coding course and already have some leads. Just make sure that you take either the AAPC or AHIMA course, because no one will touch you without that certification.
