Most of us may really be employees, not ICs....sm - Legal eagle

Upon doing research this morning in various states one provision that seems to be consistent in the state definitions of IC vs employee includes part of the definition of employee status is:  How/when/where to do the work or what tools/equipment to use.

Therefore with most of us being required to log into certain systems and in case of work where you have to use certain computer specs - you technically are an employee even if you have an IC contract.
