You (meaning whoever chooses to do this) start stirring that pot, you might not like the taste of the results once your employers get advised that they've been reported and are being investigated.

You're very easily able to be replaced with someone else who won't complain about the status and then they don't have to pay taxes or penalties on that person.

It's the choice each person has to make for themselves, knowing the chances of what will happen.
