some time ago, where the reason given for letting go of part timers was to ensure full timers getting enough work to cover their hours and benefits.
It's such a guessing game, but either way, try and stay ahead of it all by having a plan. Make copies of things you would want to keep from your email; like contact info for Payroll dept, Benefits dept, email address for Ceridian (the payroll site you can still access for a while after no longer being with the company) and whatever other information or email addresses you think you might need if you lose access to your work email or completely get locked out of the computer (if you have a company computer). Put everything in a file folder. You'll be glad you did this and feel more prepared for when, and if, they continue to eliminate more positions. Wishing you all the best!!!
