It really was a blessing for me. I had been working from home for almost 15 years. It was really not good for my health, physical or mental. Just the change of getting back out there, having more interaction with people, a job where you are appreciated makes all the difference.
It has been a challenge financially as unemployment benefits are obviously less than former salary, but I am grateful for the TAA program and have something to look forward to in a year when I am a nurse!
